How to Hack Your Daily Meditation and Save 70,000 Hours

“Exploring the brainwave hack that turns you into a Zen monk - in minutes.”
By Karl Moore
We’ve all heard about the powerful benefits of meditation: Less stress, greater relaxation, sharper thinking, improved memory, enhanced creativity, and more.
Yet how many of us have experienced this for ourselves?
Meditation holds some amazing benefits for those that practice it routinely. Since the 1970s, there have been over 3000 scientific studies at over 200 independent universities, all validating the life-changing gains of regular meditation.
The problem is that reaching the states that bring about such powerful benefits takes time. You need to invest hours in weekly practice. Months of training as you learn to slowly quieten the mind, suppress the itching, and slowly progress into deeper and deeper states of meditation. Then again, what if there was a ‘hack’ you could use to quickly achieve those deep, profound states – all within just minutes? Science has the answer.

Brainwaves: The Signatures of Your Mind

Let’s briefly look at the science. Your brain consists of 100 billion brain cells, and each of those cells talk to each other using little spikes of electricity. The overall pattern of this activity can be measured using an electroencephalography (EEG) machine.
This overall pattern is represented as a “frequency”, and that frequency can be thought of as a signature for your state of mind. We have different names for each frequency range: beta, delta, and alpha, for example. Right now, you’re alert and conscious, and so you’re most likely operating in the beta range of 12-30 Hz. (Hertz, meaning cycles per second.) When you’re asleep at night, you’re in the delta range of 0-4Hz.
We also know the exact meditation ‘signature’ frequencies too. By observing Zen monks in practice, we can see that the more advanced the meditation, the deeper the brainwave frequencies, while you remain awake and conscious. So: The more advanced the meditation, the deeper the brainwave frequencies, and the greater the benefits in your life. The problem is that it can take years to train yourself to access those deeper states of meditation. You either find it too difficult to quieten your mind, or find yourself dropping off to sleep. And that’s where brainwave entrainment comes into play.

100 Years of Brainwave Entrainment Research

Brainwave entrainment is an area of science that has been heavily researched over the past 100 years. And it provides the key to improving your meditation results, quicker than you ever thought possible. Let’s consider how it works. Imagine striking a tuning fork, and holding another tuning fork next to it. What happens? The second tuning fork starts vibrating at the same frequency as the first. The same thing happens with the brain. It plays “follow the leader.” If you expose it to a particular frequency, the brain follows and copies that frequency. This is a phenomenon in science known as brainwave entrainment.
Now, this is where it all gets really clever. Remember, we know the frequencies associated with super-deep meditation. And we know that the brain follows frequencies when exposed to them. So, we create a form of stimulation that incorporates those frequencies, and expose it to the brain. Typically this is done through a simple audio file (such as an MP3), using isochronic tones or binaural beats to deliver the frequency. By listening to this audio file, the brain quickly copies the frequency, and takes you down into a deep state of meditation – effortlessly. No struggling. No difficulty quietening your thoughts. Just speedy access to those deeper states of consciousness, on-demand.
By listening, you get the immediate benefit of enhanced relaxation, and the dissolution of stress, anxiety and worry. Over time, the greater benefits become clear: sharper brain power, improved focus, decreased insomnia, enhanced creativity, dozens of huge health benefits, and more. And all because of a simple MP3!

Using the Ultimate Brain Hack

Brainwave entrainment isn’t a myth. It’s an area of science that can help dramatically improve your life. In fact, we estimate that it can save you 70,000 hours of meditative practice over the course of your lifetime. So, do your research. Find a brainwave meditation program with a good reputation, and give it a month to see how it enhances your life. Or learn more about the science, and try to create your own.
For me, without a doubt, brainwave entrainment is perhaps the ultimate brain hack. It can save you 70,000 hours and improve your life in ways you’d never imagine.
And now you know more about it, maybe it’s time to try it out for yourself. I received a free relaxation demo that I have been testing out for close to 30 days, and this thing is amazing. I encourage you to try and let us know your thoughts.

Make Money and Lounge

you hear "eBay" and "money" in the same sentence your probably think of becoming an eBay seller.

You place product listings in the eBay marketplace, buyers bid, you pay your eBay seller fees and what you have left is your profit margin.

There is, however, another way to build a business which still revolves around eBay but which doesn’t involve you selling a single thing in the eBay marketplace.

This "other way" opportunity is based on the eBay affiliate program and a great tool which makes entry into this opportunity not only possible but also super easy. This tool is called "Build A Niche Store".

Now if you don’t know – an affiliate program enables you as an individual internet entrepreneur to promote the products of a company in exchange for a commission on all sales that you refer.

You are basically operating as an internet middleman and connecting internet browsers to particular products and companies through you own network of websites and marketing methods.

If we return to the eBay affiliate program, eBay actually invites you to promote all of the product listings in the eBay marketplace and in exchange for your efforts will pay you up to 75% of the revenue they make from each sale you refer plus up to $35 for each new active eBay member you refer.

Blockbuster vs Netflix

22. Because the corporate movie rental giant that shut down small mom and pop movie stores became cocky and sloppy

21. Blockbuster online is not as user friendly as Netflix

20. Netflix is the Godfather of online rentals and makes offers customers can’t refuse

19. 10 out of 20 movies from Blockbuster online were scratched and or dented

18. 3 out of 20 movies from Netflix were scratched and or dented

17. Blockbuster focuses on highlighting how and why they are better than Netflix. A duck doesn’t have to say it’s a duck to be seen as a duck.

16. Blockbuster promotes Netflix in their commercials in attempts to persuade viewers that they truly have more to offer, nothing like free advertising

15. Blockbuster is more expensive than Netflix (cost of plan, cost of late “restocking” fee, & Gas)

14. Blockbuster needs Netflix to survive in the online rental industry. Netflix has and controls the resources and necessities that Blockbuster needs for online

13. Blockbuster was late to the party and caught with their pants down

12. ‘This is blockbuster, you currently owe $495 for the following late movies…’ Charging customers late fees daily for movie rentals not returned on time.

11. Being sued for illegal (original) late fee structure… very sneaky… Blockbuster loses the trust of loyal customers

10. ‘No Late Fees… ever,’ a few months later… ‘You are being charged a restocking fee for the movie being late’

09. Because local is better, and Netflix delivers on time

08. Netflix is just the perfect convenient alternative, and delivers on time

07. Blockbuster Online Support has no real answers that help, instead they read you answers from the frequently asked questions and talk you around in circles in hopes that you will go away.

06. Threatening to cancel your membership means nothing to Blockbuster online

05. Blockbuster can’t make their minds up about what to offer customers, All-Access or By mail?

04. Then, unlimited in-store movie exchanges… Now, limited in-store movie exchanges a month

03. Netflix counters Blockbusters’ in-store exchange and still delivers faster with ‘On demand’ online download option

02. Blockbuster is currently in the process of closing their brick and mortar stores because the cost to debt ratio is killing them.

01. Blockbuster again loses it’s loyal customers, online and in-store to Netflix due to the current plan change set to take place August 31 for current customers.

EL-P - I'll Sleep When You're Dead

El-P remains the one to watch, rattling off his typically complex rhymes about the state of the world (and the bedroom) over the cling-clang of industrial beats and frenzied noise. It's dense and weird and sometimes even scary, all of which makes it a marked improvement over the usual Saturday night boom-bap. --Aidin Vaziri

Leona Naess

Leona Naess’ exquisite songs about life, love and relationships can be heard on her albums Comatised (2000), I Tried To Rock You But You Only Roll (2001) and Leona Naess (2003). “I'm a real romantic,” she admits. “I'd much rather watch a video, in the arms of someone I love, than travel around the world trying to get people to like my music.”
